At Smile Magic
A dental implant is a small post placed in the jawbone to replace a missing tooth’s root. Once it has healed, it can support a replacement tooth. For a single tooth, there are three parts: the implant in the bone, an abutment that connects to it, and a crown — the tooth you see when you smile.

Your questions, answered
A few things to know before your visit.
Your dentist will assess your oral and overall health, including whether there is enough bone to support an implant. Bring your medical history and medication list to the appointment. An examination is needed before recommending treatment.
Treatment generally involves planning, placing the implant, allowing the bone to heal around it, and attaching the replacement tooth. Healing often takes several months. Your dentist will explain the steps and timing for your situation.
Discuss anesthesia and pain control with your dentist before treatment. Some tenderness and swelling can occur afterward. You will receive instructions for recovery; contact your dentist if you have concerns.
Not everyone needs one. Your dentist will assess the bone at the missing-tooth site and explain whether additional treatment is needed. Bone grafting is not included in our single-tooth implant offer and is quoted separately.
Our $3,499 single-tooth offer includes the implant, abutment and crown. Extraction, bone graft and CT scan are excluded and quoted separately. Your total depends on the treatment you need. Conditions apply. Read the offer conditions.
Coverage depends on your specific plan and benefits. Contact the office to discuss your insurance and estimated costs. CareCredit and Sunbit financing are also available, subject to approval. Explore insurance and financing.
Clean the implant and surrounding teeth as instructed and attend regular dental visits. There is no lifetime guarantee: health, healing and ongoing care matter. Smoking can reduce success. Tell your dentist promptly if an implant feels loose or painful.
Possible complications include infection, injury to nearby structures and failure of the implant to heal or remain stable. Your dentist will discuss the risks relevant to you and alternatives before you decide.
