A familiar face

Dr. Rohan Shah earned his BDS in India, then came to the United States and completed his DMD at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2017 — qualifying a second time, in a second country, in a second system.
Qualifying twice taught him something about being on the other side of an unfamiliar system. Arriving somewhere new, not knowing how things work, hoping someone will explain rather than talk over you; that is close to how a lot of patients feel in a dental chair. It is why the practice takes time explaining what is happening and what it will cost, before anything starts.
Dr. Shah places dental implants himself, planning and placing them here rather than referring patients elsewhere partway through treatment, and is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is also an Invisalign provider and a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
