This policy describes the website for AART Ventures PC, doing business as Smile Magic Family Dentistry. Our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices explains how we handle patient health information and the rights that apply to it.
Information on this website
You can read these pages without submitting patient information to the practice through the website. The site does not include a patient intake form, payment form, chat widget, advertising pixels or visitor analytics installed by the practice. Fonts and site images are served with the website rather than loaded from an external font service.
Hosting and technical information
When your browser requests a page, the hosting and delivery services receive technical information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser information. These services may process logs or use necessary cookies to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose errors. The practice does not use these pages to track you for targeted advertising.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare, in an account owned by the practice. Cloudflare’s servers receive the technical information described above in order to deliver the pages, and Cloudflare’s handling of that information is described in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Browser privacy settings can limit cookies, although some site features may then work differently.
Online booking and directions
Booking links open Jarvis Analytics, a separate appointment scheduling service. Information you enter there is submitted through that service, not through a form hosted on these pages. Review the privacy information provided by the scheduling service before entering information.
Directions links open Google Maps. We do not embed a Google map on these pages. When you follow an external link, the other service receives your request and its own privacy practices apply. Your browser may also send referral information depending on its settings.
Calling or emailing us
If you call or email, we receive the information you choose to provide and use it to respond or handle your request. Patient health information is handled under our HIPAA notice and applicable law. Ordinary email may not be secure; please call for guidance before sending sensitive health information.
Children’s information
The website describes dental services for families but does not provide a form for collecting information directly from children. Parents or authorized guardians should contact the office about appointments and privacy questions.
